Running a transformer at 100% capacity creates excessive heat and shortens the unit's lifespan. Professionals always leave 20% headroom. If your total load is 80W, use at least a 100W transformer.

Modern LED specs often list VA (Volt-Amps). This is the "true" power draw. If a fixture says 3W but 5VA, always use the 5VA in your math to prevent overloading the circuit.
