1. Check Head-to-Head Spacing: Sprinklers are designed to spray all the way to the foot of the next sprinkler head over (called head-to-head coverage). If your spray patterns don't overlap completely, you will get dry brown halos during high summer heat stress.
2. Never Mix Nozzle Types: Never put a standard Spray Nozzle on the exact same valve zone as a Rotary Nozzle. Rotaries apply water at a much slower rate. Mixing them means one part of your lawn will drown while the other starves.
